In my first post I told you about the fashion week in Milan. Now it’s time to tell you something about my first Haute Couture fashion week in Paris. Unless you are someone famous, rich or work for a magazine it’s practically impossible to get to a regular ready-to-wear fashion show let alone to an haute couture show (haute couture = high fashion, basically the most expensive and exclusive clothes out there). But me and my poseformee team managed to receive some invites and get to some of the shows. This time I was in Paris only with Roxane, it was her last week in France before her return back to China.
I stayed with one of the nicest couchsurfers near Montmartre. We had a walk to Sacré-Cœur, I saw Bistrot La Renaissance where Inglorious Basterds were shot, we visited Louxor cinema and went to a bar to watch football. When I was in Paris for fashion, thousands of football fans were there because of Euro 2016. I even saw the celebrations of french fans after they beat Iceland. I’ll let the pictures and videos speak on my behalf.

After the first Chanel show I took a walk and stumbled upon the great Patrick Demarchelier on Pont Alexandre III. We had a nice chat, he was going to the show, I was going to stand outside and wait for models, lol. I forgot to tell him I once made a project about him at high school.

Yanina Fashion had gorgeous and wearable clothes at their show. The colection was called The legend of the bird of happiness and it was inspired by russian fairy tales.

The show was held at the Russian embassy in Paris, it truly was a wonderful place.

After the last show we held to our tradition of “all you can eat” sushi.
The sushi place was near Panthéon.
This was Roxane’s last day in Paris and mine as well. We enjoyed fashion week the best we could.
